Dr. Jorge Kattah is a neurophthalmologist/neurotologist practicing at the INI OSF Medical Center. He is Professor and Head of Neurology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria, Illinois. Dr. Kattah began his medical career in the Department of Neurology at Georgetown University where he worked for 20 years. In 1977, he completed a Neurophthalmology fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh. Eye and Ear Hospital. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Neurology, American Neurologic Association, The North American Neurophthalmology Society and the Barany Society and Association of University Professors of Neurology. He is board certified in neurology. Clinical and research interests include neurological aspects of Vision, Eye Movement and Vestibular Neurology. Ataxia, Paraneoplastic Syndromes, Wernicke’s Encephalopathy, Multiple Sclerosis and posterior circulation stroke. He has a lifelong interest in teaching Neurology.
