Cecile E. F. Becker, MD, is a neurologist and partner at Springfield Clinic, LLP in Springfield, Illinois. She began her medical career at Rush Medical College in Chicago, IL. She went on to Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in North Carolina to complete a Neurology residency and a Neuromuscular fellowship. Dr. Becker is board certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Over the past twenty years, she has practiced Neurology at a large, multi-specialty group in Central Illinois. She is past chairperson of the department of neurology and serves on the IT committee. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and Illinois State Medical Society. She considers herself a general neurologist treating all neurological diseases but devotes herself to the treatment of headache disorders, dementia, and neuromuscular diseases.
Dr. Becker enjoys travel, biking, reading, and family activities. Dr. Becker’s husband is a chocolatier, and owns a chocolate shop in Rochester, IL., specializing in European-style chocolates. On special occasions, you can find her there helping out.
