Dr. Therese Dunne is a vascular neurologist practicing at Advocate Aurora Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL and is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. Dr. Dunne began her medical career at Rush University Medical College where she was Co-President of the Student Interest Group in Neurology and awarded the American Academy of Neurology Medical Student Prize for Excellence. She completed her neurology residency at Rush University Medical Center and vascular neurology fellowship at University of Chicago Medical Center. She is a member of the American Heart Association / American Stroke Association and American Academy of Neurology and is board certified in neurology and vascular neurology. Clinical and research interests include intracranial atherosclerosis, stroke in young patients, and stroke rehabilitation. She has a passion for education and mentorship of neurology students and residents.
