Austin Hake, MD

Austin Hake, M.D. is a board-certified neurologist in general neurology and clinical neurophysiology. He co-founded the Illinois State Neurological Society with Dr. Song in 2017. Dr. Hake is a shareholder and practicing neurologist at Quincy Medical Group in Quincy, Illinois, where he also serves as Medical Director of the EEG Lab.

He earned his medical degree and completed his neurology residency at Saint Louis University, followed by a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at Rush University Medical Center.

In addition to his practice in Quincy and his outreach clinic in Bowling Green, Missouri, Dr. Hake holds academic appointments as Clinical Assistant Professor at both Southern Illinois University and A.T. Still University’s Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Hake has previously held multiple leadership roles at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, including President of the Medical Staff, member of the Board of Trustees, and Chair of the Department of Medicine. His clinical interests include migraine, epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders, and stroke.
